My basic idea was to re-think the way that we pick objects up and to create new handles for a basic range of jugs and cups.

The jugs subtly suggest the typical figurativeness of the Koziol products. The spouts of the porcelain jugs look like a birds beak – the plastic handle is reminiscent of a colourful tail of feathers – this characteristic is further supported by a small „eye“ and the bulbous shape. That is why the collection is called A-POLLO („pollo“ it. = chicken). The „A“ is a link to the „AROMA“ collection – designed by Matteo Thun.
